Art at Bay is a blogazine covering Tampa Bay’s growing contemporary art scene. We hope to be a catalyst to dialogue involving art in Tampa Bay and a conduit for serious thought on art and the politics of art making.
About the writers
Danny graduated from Clearwater High School in 2001 and shortly thereafter attended St. Petersburg College. In 2004 he moved to California and attended the Academy of Art University San Francisco. Danny married in 2006 and once again lives in Clearwater, Florida. His artwork has been featured in several galleries in Florida and New York. Victoria was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and she moved to the States when she was 11. She lived in Miami until the age of 18; thereafter she went off to study at USF in Tampa, Fl. She graduated from USF with a degree in Art History and Philosophy. She is now a Freelance Bilingual copywriter and an arts and culture writer for Beautiful/Decay, Hi-Fructose Blog, The 405 and Art at Bay. Kasey Lou Lindley
Kasey was born in San Francisco, California and raised in Utah. She studied at the New York Studio Program, received her BFA from the Ringling College of Art & Design, and her MFA from the University of Connecticut. Lindley has exhibited nationally and internationally at venues in New York City, Boston, Salt Lake City, India, Germany, Turkey, and Croatia. Kasey writes for Sarasota Visual Art and Art at Bay.
